Texprocess, the new exhibition of European-made machinery for

the end of May takes place the first edition of Texprocess, European trade fair for machinery for the garment industry. A crucial meeting to be in contact with the most sophisticated and modern equipment for the sector. Is done in parallel with the Techtextil.


The IMB in Cologne has ended and now the Technical Association of the Leather Apparel Association of German Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers (VDMA) has announced its partnership with Messe Frankfurt for the realization of Texprocess, whose premiere will take place in Frankfurt from 24 to 27 May 2011.

The new show will debut in May in parallel with Techtextil, specializing in technical fabrics and also the organization Messe Frankfurt. Since that time, both events will be staged every two years together, creating a platform to bring together 1,700 exhibitors and 50,000 visitors from 120 countries.

According to the Association, exhibitors and visitors now have the platform required to do justice to the effort of attending and participating in international fairs. Thus, Frankfurt is a world reference in terms of textile technology to improve production processes. Even the manufacturing sites are starting to return closer to Europe, which also are technical fabric manufacturers.

The Texprocess product offering covers the entire value creation chain, from cutting and preparation, through the sewing, embroidery, up to finishing, logistics, IT and textiles. Schmetz, Sunstar / SWF, Tajima, Topcut-Bullmer, Veit, VI.BE.MAC, Xi'an Typicals, Yamato, Zoje and ZSK.

Texprocess A highlight of sourcing platform is the Source it!, Which are mainly garment producing countries in the world, but also individual manufacturing companies. Fashion brands can learn on the platform on the current situation in different countries sourcing.
