The book is the result of joint work at the federal meeting of designers, Things of endeavor, 1st edition (Córdoba, April , 2010), organized by the Observatory of Trends INTI, the Foundation for Weaving and Cultural Center Spain Cordoba.
The book collects the reflections of twenty designers / clothing as copyright and twelve cultural managers linked to the design, produced around three topics: the characteristics of identity of creative languages, intellectual property management products and design endeavors. Emphasizing how geographic contexts, symbolic and social dialogue with the creative work of the makers, the pages of this publication denote the collective search for answers to common questions about the phenomenon of contemporary design in Argentina. As mentioned in the prologue, ¨ if there is a thread, a permanent reference, is the fact that they decided to look beyond one-way globalization of the nineties and, looking up to see their own horizon, they saw their immediate surroundings (... ) Envoys of the new Argentine design are those relating to found their own discourse ¨.
