INVISTA shows trends in swimwear for spring-summer 2012, with a look into the future where we can distinguish different inspirations.
TRENDS Heritage
The combination of the eternal with modernity, characterizes collections of swimwear this season. The vintage pieces acquire forms and have a marine style, with glamorous chic items. The courts are careful, specific details with excellent finishing.
The palette is bright and fresh colors: red, blue and yellow tonal work with partners achieving a soft focus. The warm gray are soft and neutral, while the khaki work like new dark tones.
This season shapes differ very noticeable: very sexy swimsuits and tight to the body (figure hourglass), striped print pieces, with details of ribbons and buttons (nautical and retro silhouette), Baroque-inspired pieces with bottoms that reach the high-waisted, very feminine (Dandy Beach), and swimwear one piece, draped with sharp necklines and backs, covered in leather (leather glamorous silhouette)
